Prophecy and History

Obama, thats yo momma! said...

Obama 'Frightens Me'. The Bible has warned us that 'A man will come from the East that will be charismatic in nature and have proposed solutions for all our problems and his rhetoric will attract many supporters!'

When will our pathetic Nation quit turning their back on God and understand that this man is 'A Muslim'....First, Last and always....and we are AT WAR with the Muslim Nation, whether our bleeding-heart, secular, Liberal friends believe it or not.

This man fits every description from the Bible of the 'Anti-Christ'! I'm just glad to know that there are others that are frightened by this man!Who is Barack Obama? Very interesting and something that should be considered in your choice. If you do not ever forward anything else, please forward this to all your contacts...this is very scary to think of what lies ahead of us here in our own United States...better heed this and pray about it and share it.

snopes.com ..' confirms this is factual.

Check for yourself.

Who is Barack Obama? Probable U. S. presidential candidate, Barack Hussein Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., a black MUSLIM from Nyangoma-Kogel, Kenya and Ann Dunham, a white ATHEIST from Wichita , Kansas.

Obama's parents met at the University of Hawaii. When Obama was two years old, his parents divorced. His father returned to Kenya. His mother then married Lolo Soetoro, a RADICAL Muslim from Indonesia. When Obama was 6 years old, the family relocated to Indonesia. Obama attended a MUSLIM school in Jakarta. He also spent two years in a Catholic school.

Obama takes great care to conceal the fact that he is a Muslim. He is quick to point out that, 'He was once a Muslim, but that he also attended Catholic school.' Obama's political handlers are attempting to make it appear that that he is not a radical. Obama's introduction to Islam came via his father, and that this influence was temporary at best. In reality, the senior Obama returned to Kenya soon after the divorce, and never again had any direct influence over his son'seducation.

Lolo Soetoro, the second husband of Obama's mother, Ann Dunham, introduced his stepson to Islam. Obama was enrolled in a Wahabi school in Jakarta.Wahabism is the RADICAL teaching that is followed by the Muslim terrorists who are now waging Jihad against the western world. Since it is politically expedient to be a CHRISTIAN when seeking major public office in the United States, Barack Hussein Obama has joined the United Church of Christ in an attempt to downplay his Muslim background.

ALSO, keep in mind that when he was sworn into office he DID NOT use the Holy Bible, but instead the Koran. Barack Hussein Obama will NOT recite the Pledge of Allegiance nor will he show any reverence for our flag. While others place their hands over their hearts, Obama turns his back to the flag and slouches.

Do you want someone like this as your PRESIDENT?

Let us all remain alert concerning Obama's expected presidential candidacy. The Muslims have said they plan on destroying the US from the inside out, what better way to start than at the highest level - through the President of the United States, one of their own!

Interesting information; although the author's "pen-name" is a bit racially insensitive.

Whether any or all of this information is fact is for us to decide. Remember, getting your ideas published on the Internet is not that difficult these days... "we" do it almost every day in the form of email, blogs, surveys, etc.

If the statements above are fact, some are quite disturbing. It is true that Americans are easily swayed by eloquent speakers such as FDR, JFK and MLK. We trust that anyone who strives to become the leader of our free nation has our best interests at heart. Prior to 911, we were a very trusting nation, almost smug to the rest of the world.

Today, we have been humbled and are more cautious, as we should be. The greatest empires of our history have tumbled by internal treachery, corruption and deceit. The historical lesson of the "Trojan Horse" is not one we should easily forget.

Forthright,

I'm disappointed in this posting because I did check Snopes.com (a quality site for its purpose) and "Obama Yo Mama's" posting is factually distorted.

Forthright, you know better....especially when the "homework" is so easy to double-check.

The senator's policy positions are enough to have hearty debate without resorting to lame email-fueled drivel. And I'm not an Obama supporter!

This post is the biggest piece of bullshit I've ever read.

It's like saying George Bush was a drunk-driving, coke snorting, draft dodger who's grandfather bankrolled the Nazis. Oh, wait, that was true...

The people who are not patriots are the people who support the war in Iraq, who support sending our troops over five and six times so they can die while Bush and Cheney and his cronies in the oil industry make billions. Is is just a coincidence we invaded the most oil rich country in the world? Is it just a coincidence that the oil companies have made record profits over the past few years?

Our young men and women in the armed forces are dying for nothing. Iraq did not attack us and they posed no threat to us.

Yes, but one thing you have to give Bush credit for: at least he caught Bin Laden!

Oppps "the Obama thats your momma" wasn't ment to be racist. It was more of like something we said back in the Bin Laden days.

That whole post is plaigarized as well as complete junk.
The non-partisan Annenberg foundation debunked it a while ago:

http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/sliming_obama.html

The post is about halfway down the page, as well as photos showing him getting sworn in on the Bible, and a link to a video of him reciting the Pledge of Allegiance at a Senate meeting

Forthright,
I am very disappointed that you posted this email designed to undermine Obama's campaign. I actually looked forward to checking this site for good debates, open ideas; but now you have ruined this forum for me. I am finished reading your rhetoric. Perpetuating false statements for the purpose of shock value and to elicit a response is irresponsible to say the least. I was truly hopeful that you were providing an opportunity in this area to open up some of the closed minds that live in the Delta. Although it sounds cliched, there are many people here that are looking for a way to make our world a better place; and perpetuating such lies to get another hot debate on race is just a new way to slam the door in those people's faces. You will not see me here again.

Well Im sticking with it! I like the site and enjoy talking about the delta and delta related events. And if you haven't noticed, the number of comments has drastically grown with the more controversal conversations over the hospital/Ray. That is where this site was loosing me. But now I have to check the site out to see what is on peoples mind before I can go to work in the morning. The site has also given me a better view of what the other races are thinking and helped me to under stand there point of view.

Like a lot of folks in this country...I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a
Random urine test, with which I have no problem.

What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes
To people who don't have to pass a urine test. Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check? Because I have to pass one to earn it for them?

Please understand, I have no problem with Helping people get back on their feet.
I do, on the other hand, have a problem with Helping someone sitting on their butt and using drugs. Could you imagine how much money the state would save If people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check?

Anonymous said...

Can you imagine how much money the state would save in prison costs if marijuana legal? Can you imagine how much money the state would make if marijuana was legal and we taxed it, like alcohol and cigarettes? Can you imagine how much money Delta farmers could make if marijuana was legal and farmers could grow and sell it?

Wait, why isn't marijuana legal? It does less harm, and is less addictive, than either cigarettes or liquor.

Craig said...

Well, I'd be all over THAT law! What's my legislator's phone number????!!!

Anonymous said...

Marijuana is for kids that want to fit in and think they are cool. Once a person gets to the age that they are not searching for that, they normally quit or are already brain dead and continue to smoke it. Most people I have seen that use it, turn out to not be as smart as they would have been if they would not have used the drug in the first place. In other words its for losers.

Anonymous said...

"In other words its for losers."

Okay. But how is that different from alcohol and cigarettes? Or do you think alcohol and cigarettes should be illegal as well?

And do we really want the federal government telling us what we can, and can't, put in our bodies?

Anonymous said...

well,, I will agree to that! even though is can do with out both.

Welfare offices are full with corrupt and incompetent workers. Their assessment determinig who qualifies for benefits stinks and the abuse and fraud on the system is evident to the most naive one.
Also, there is no civism and sense of community. Welfare should be a temporary relief for individuals going through difficult times, so they can get on their feet, not a lifestyle inherited and passed through generations.
How to solve the issue? Audit random cases and hold people accountable for their bad decisions.
Let's cut the politically correctness BS. The root of the problem is the black community.
When 26% of black males over 26 are in jail, 80% of black 4th graders cannot read and 70% of black babies are born out of the wedlock, there is something substantially screwed up!!!
There is a desperate need for leadership within the local AA community. They are a very important part of this community's past and future. We need them to step up to the plate, integrate in a positive way and help to rebuild the Delta.

I'm not fully decided on my vote but I think anyone that reads anything at all into that chain letter needs a good dose of something helpful.

Obama says that he is a Christan, with a really diverse background. That's fine by me. I'm glad that he is Christian because I am and I think that it would be great example to rest of the world as to what a Christian is and stands for if he will truly serve in the White House with dignity and principal. Frankly most of our recent prez's wear their religion like a lapel pin. I think Obama has been more though the trenches with his spiritual walk and that speaks volumes more. Been to a Muslim school? Great! That would mean that he is more educated and respected by their community. Again, something that has been lacking from many a recent president.

I think that is a great opportunity. The biggest problem we have right now is our diplomacy ... everyone thinks our country is a playground for crusty anglo-saxon types that understand very little of the rest of the world except where it infringes on oh say .. our gas bill. Sadly some of this is true but a lot of it is them stereotyping us. I think a president with a diverse background could do a lot in that regard, getting them to take a closer look and be more understanding as well.

The funny thing about that letter is that it is the exact same version of propaganda fodder that keeps certain extremist Muslim's in power ... stirring up fears ... "were selling the farm" ... "don't try a new approach, just barricade yourself in and look out for number one".

If Obama tries any crazy stunts there are lots of checks and balances in place. Put aside unfounded fears, listen to what the guy has to say THEN make your choice.

A local manufacturer will close its doors next month, leaving more than 130 people out of work.

Great Dane Trailers will shut down production as of March 21.

OK, now it's time for the same old let's pull together, we can make Greenville better if we work hard and get along and show industries that Greenville would be fine place to relocate to. I can hear all the happy horse s**t now.
As I have been telling you folks, get out while the getting is good. Your used to be great town is dead!

Good that Obama went to a Muslim school? One could argue that it makes him more sensitive to their beliefs and that he is influenced by those experiences. That's a double sided coin. One thing that really bothers me is that Farrakhan thinks he is the great hope for America...that really frightens me. He doesn't need endorsements from folks like that. Other people who are not the most decent and fair minded also are huge supporters such as Al Sharpton. Another potentially dangerous man who spreads hate. His lies have been told and exposed over and over again. It makes me wonder where is Obama's judgment on these personal relationships with these two men.

And, to the person who posted that our public officials like the welfare employees are corrupt. How true. It is so embarassing that so many of our Greenville and Washington county officials are awaiting trial or already in jail. That says a lot about our leadership and who WE'VE elected. I can tell you that I worked at a local clinic and there were pregnant women who worked as waitresses making less than minimum wage, but couldn't qualify for Medicaid when pregnant, but...other patients would come in and say, I'm waiting on my Medicaid. When you would tell them that they probably wouldn't qualify because of their income as they held solid jobs, they would say, "oh yeah, I know the ladies that work there and they are gonna take care of it." Not really fair b/c they "know someone".

As much as I hate to say it, ghost is right. We are on the down side slide. And I know there are folks who are all suzy sunshine about the community who say, its time to ban together, rah rah, and all that jazz. But, it is going to take more than motivational speeches and a community swimming hole to fix Greenville.

HILLARY UNMASKED

By DICK MORRIS & EILEEN MCGANN

Published on FOXNews.com on February 28, 2008.

The real Hillary Clinton stood up at the Democratic presidential debate this week: angry, sarcastic, stubborn, secretive, arrogant, mired in the past, victim of the media, and still firmly convinced that she is uniquely entitled to the Democratic Party nomination and the presidency.

That Hillary hasn’t really been on display much since the debacle of her disastrous health care plan and the end of Bill Clinton’s impeachment trial, when she haughtily flaunted her combative personality.

But make no mistake about it — that’s the Hillary Clinton that we’ll see if she somehow manages to steal the Democratic nomination.

She’s found her voice. The one that so alienated everyone she came into contact with over her health care plan that her own party destroyed it. The one that publicly and loudly defended Bill and arranged for attacks on Monica Lewinsky when she knew the complete and sordid truth.

She’s always had a chip on her shoulder and a strange paranoia, but it’s definitely gotten worse. Now it’s not just the vast right wing conspiracy that is out to get her. Now it’s the mainstream media. How are they doing that? By asking her the first questions at the debates!

Hillary’s snide comment about whether Barack needed a pillow to be made more comfortable was downright embarrassing. The anticipated applause line on her script never happened. The audience was silent. The press was amazed. And Barack seemed genuinely startled by her nuttiness — he looked over at her as if he was viewing a dotty old aunt at a family dinner, the one that everyone politely humors.

Her lifelong pattern of secrecy was once again evident. While publicly promoting transparency in government, she steadfastly refuses to release her personal income tax returns. That’s a clear tip-off that there’s something to hide. Recall that the Clintons selectively released tax returns in Arkansas, but refused to go back to 1980, when Hillary had her windfall in cattle futures.

During the debate, Hillary suggested that she’d release the returns “soon,” but her staff quickly backtracked. She implied that she’s been too busy to deal with releasing the returns. Does she really think anyone believes that it will take more than simply making a copy of the return? She’s stalling and there’s a reason for that.

Most likely, the return will show how much Bill has been making from his partnership with the Sheik of Dubai and his other business ventures. Should the spouse of a presidential candidate be in business with a foreign leader who needs favors from the U.S. Government? Definitely not. That’s why we’ll never see those returns.

And then there are the Clinton Library records that document her schedule as first lady. She doesn’t want them released either because they will definitively show that she was never the co-president. The Library has been stalling on the release of those documents for years. During the debate, she said that she wanted them released as quickly as possible and seemed to blame the Bush administration for the delay. But today, the White House indicated that she had made no requests for any expedited release.

The old Hillary, the real Hillary, is back.

And there’s apparently been no one to stop her from acting on her own worse instincts.

Underneath the veneer of the practiced smile and the strategically used giggle, there is a rage that is always close to the surface. It was on display in the debate.

Hillary Clinton is furious that America has not agreed to her coronation. She doesn’t understand why voters are rejecting her and embracing Barack Obama. She just doesn’t get it.

Never one to engage in self reflection, she can’t blame herself or even her incompetent strategists and advisers. They’re too close to her. She can’t accept the sorry fact that her campaign has been a disaster because it was based on the past and not the future, because it was premised on her phony experience and maintaining the status quo, and because her negative outlook is completely out of step with the mood of America. And finally, because in the positive message of Barack Obama, Americans see a stark contrast with her doom and gloom view of the world.

So, she’ll blame the media. It’s their fault.

And she’ll keep screaming about what a fighter she is.

More like a bully.

*clipped from above site*

Clinton may have another problem in Iowa. "I was shocked when I learned Iowa and Mississippi have never elected a woman governor, senator or member of Congress. There has got to be something at work here," she said, theorizing it may be the risk-averse nature of a state built around agriculture.

"I think not only do I have to bring people to me, I have to maybe reassure people here maybe more than I do in New Hampshire, which has had a woman governor," she said.

"I think Iowa poses a special burden, or a special obstacle to me because when you look at the numbers, how can Iowa be ranked with Mississippi? That's not what I see. That's not the quality. That's not the communitarianism, that's not the openness I see in Iowa."

"As well as I do, I still have to go over a much higher hurdle in Iowa than anybody else," Clinton said. (Obama may quarrel with that. Iowa's black population is only 2.1 percent.).....

Hilary Clinton apparently has too much time on her hands to be so bold as to insult Mississippi out loud, when we, as a State, matter to this election, more than ever...and she thinks we are backward???
