The Sins of Our Forefathers...

At 52 years old, I've discovered that enslaving blacks was absolutely the worst thing that could have happened to this country. Over 200 years later, they are still complaining about it with hard feelings. If our forefathers had only realized what a terrible thing they were doing to the country by bringing the blacks here and enslaving them.

The black people are over 80% of our prison population, 80% of our public assistance programs, yet they say they are only 13% of our total population. What have we done to these poor people to make them behave like this? The majority of them are all driving new cars, thanks to the welfare programs they are on. The police departments probably spends 70-80% of their time picking on the poor black man for minor offenses like armed robbery, rape, murder, drug dealing. They should leave these poor black people alone, they are saints.

It's us, the white people who get up and go to work everyday, who are to blame for all of this. We have left them no choice but to behave like this. After all, we've only offered them the same educational opportunities our kids have for the last 50 or 60 years. We all have to realize why they run in gangs and beat up the White children. It's because of us, the white despicable bastards, who won't give them more.

Look at affirmative action for the last 50 years, giving jobs to under qualified blacks instead of qualified whites to make up for what was done to their forefathers. Now look at our government agencies, just try to get something done where the blacks are running it unless you're another black. Affirmative action does not work. The Rev. Al Sharpton says we should give each child $25,000 to put them on a level playing field with white people. The poor black farmers have only gotten close to $150,000, also to bring them up to a level playing field with the white farmers. That's not counting the 40 acres and a mule they were given after the Civil War, something the whites were not given.

Where would are country be without them? ... A lot better off in my opinion. President Lincoln wanted to send them to Panama. Too bad he got assassinated before he got this done. If you are around black people and you don't see anything wrong with their culture or the way they behave, you are just like them.

Why didn't we just pick our own damn cotton??? Just my thought for today.

Working stiff

While I do not agree with "working stiff" that our country would be better off today without "blacks", I do see merit in his assertion that it is time for "affirmative action" programs to come to an end. "Quotas" for certain racial and ethnic groups are no more fair than discrimination on the basis of gender or religious belief.

A famous Sociologist once noted: "The societal pendulum of America must swing just as far to the left as it does to the right, before it eventually comes back to the middle." By my clock, in the 21st century, we should be very close to plumb center by now.

When I was in school, I went to major universities which challenged me to study, learn and achieve. These universities were open to all students of any race who had a sincere desire to learn and improve their lot in life. I went to school for 2.5 years to earn my master's and 4 more years to achieve my doctorate degree... a total of over 10 years in universities for my education.

Today, I see traditionally "black" universities which are simply "degree mills". They grant Bachelor's degrees in 2 years, Master's and Doctorate degrees in 9 months! Most of these student's emerge from these degree mills with 3rd grade reading and math skills. They annihilate the English language, both written and spoken, and have essentially no knowledge of "cultural diversity" since they have never been exposed to any other culture than "black".

Instead of trying to improve the quality of education, the instructors at these "black universities" are more concerned about watering down the curriculums and meeting the quotas of graduates needed to secure their jobs. Ignorance begets ignorance... and the cycle goes on and on!

The "entitlement mentality" is the chief product of these degree mills. Armed with a worthless piece of paper, these graduates enter today's work force with only a minimal ability to read and write.

When they can't get a job, it is never because they "chose" one of these degree mills over a true university; NO... it is pure and simple... discrimination!

At least in the post Civil War era, most blacks would have known what to do with 40 acres and a mule. Today, I would pity the mule.

You're an asshole - stay hid! It wouldn't bode to well for you to reveal who you truly are!!!

Anonymous said...

WOW ! The truth hurts !

Anonymous said...

No the "truth" doesn't hurt. A TRUTH is "constant". It never changes.

What WORKING STIFF and FORTHRIGHT have done is summed up their views on black and BEING black in America; something neither of them know much about - truth plays no part in that!

I didn't attend a black university. I've never received government assistance. I don't drive a new car and when it was new it was paid for with hard earned wages!

I get up EVERY DAY and work to pay my bills which include a mortgage, property taxes, health care and FEDERAL TAXES!

I've never annihilated the English language (written or spoken). And I'm well aware of cultural diversity - something nonexistent on this site.

The only thing I'm entitled to is what I earn and work for!!!!

If the two pieces included in Forthright's post for today are to be considered the "truth", then it's evident that I'm a walking contradiction to what's being said!

Keep your damn mule!!!

A bit more about your TRUTH:

80% of our prison population is black! = LIE!!!

In 2009, 92.9% of prisoners were male. Blacks accounted for 38.2% of the prison population, despite making up just 12.4% of the general population.

Hispanics account for 20.7% of those incarcerated.

The United States has experienced a surge in its prison population since 1980, partially as a result of MANDATED SENTENCES that came about during the "war on drugs."

Violent crime and property crime have declined since the early 1990s

The petty street thief goes to prison while Madoff "MAKES OFF WITH MILLIONS"!!!!

Blacks make of 80% of our public assistance programs = LIE!!

TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) families are racially and ethnically diverse; about 37% are BLACK,36% are WHITE, and 20% are HISPANIC.

Medicaid - In 2009, nonelderly Medicaid recipients by race/ethnicity were 43% WHITE, 21% BLACK, 28% HISPANIC.

On December 31, 2005, there were 2,193,798 people in U.S. prisons and jails. The United States incarcerates a greater share of its population, 737 per 100,000 residents, than any other country on the planet. But when you break down the statistics you see that incarceration is not an equal opportunity punishment.

U.S. incarceration rates by race, June 30, 2006:

Whites: 409 per 100,000
Latinos: 1,038 per 100,000
Blacks: 2,468 per 100,000
Gender is an important "filter" on the who goes to prison or jail, June 30, 2006:

Females: 134 per 100,000
Males: 1,384 per 100,000
Look at just the males by race, and the incarceration rates become even more frightening, June 30, 2006:

White males: 736 per 100,000
Latino males: 1,862 per 100,000
Black males: 4,789 per 100,000
If you look at males aged 25-29 and by race, you can see what is going on even clearer, June 30, 2006:

For White males ages 25-29: 1,685 per 100,000.
For Latino males ages 25-29: 3,912 per 100,000.
For Black males ages 25-29: 11,695 per 100,000. (That's 11.7% of Black men in their late 20s.)

1:17 and 3:23 It's ashame that you can't take responsability for the fact that blacks are not taking responsability for their actions. I know that you will defend your race as you should but just like me it took me being held up and a gun put to my head last november by one of my kind to finally open my eyes. As I pulled in my driveway thanksgiving eve I was jumped and robbed for just 4 dollars by three young black men. And if his gun had not jammed I would be dead right now. Ever since then I will have to admit my brothers don't care if you are black or white they just do it for the kicks or to join the gang. Being a black man this makes me mad that our young black men have this mentality to do these things and never give it a second thought. We as a black community need to take back our young and start teaching them that that is not the life they want to live. Our black churches need to preach to these young men and women some morals and stop preaching the negative and poor poor me for being black. Those statistics above are just horrible about the black race and it seems to be getting worse.

Anonymous said...

You don't think I hold my purse a little bit tighter when I'm approached by a young man looking like a thug?

You don't think I lecture, preach, shout, chastise every young black man I encounter "LOOKING LIKE A FOOL WITH HIS PANTS ON THE GROUND?"

You don't think I hang my head in shame when I hear the broken English spoken by "some" blacks today?

You don't think I correct written and spoken speech when need be?

You don't think I'm aware of how unsafe Greenville has become due to the surge in criminal activity among blacks (especially young male blacks)?

You don't think I'm sick of supporting blacks, whites, hispanics, asians and whoever else is benefiting from welfare, food stamps, medicaid AND APPEAR TO BE JUST AS ABLE BODIED AS ME?

You don't think I want my son to be a success and not a statistic?

You don't think I realize who leads OUR COMMUNITY in teen pregnancy, STDs, high school drop out rates and crime?

I AM ASHAMED!!!!!!!!!

But one thing I am not ashamed of is being a black successful woman.

I'm ashamed of the mentality of those I just talked about. Why they don't want more? How can we reach them and others to change the downward spiral?

We exchange comments about how terrible things are. We snarl and bite one another about who's the worst of the worst. We quote stats.

But I haven't heard ONE SUGGESTION other than starting a church group to teach "OUR KIND" how to change their ways.

So what is the point?

This horse has been beat to death and we're still at square one!

While you're heaping praise on yourself, Dr. Morse, please note that the correct term is "curricula," not "curriculums."

6:33 I am right along with you. It starts at home where these young black single mothers aren't teaching their children basic morals and good work ethics because they are sitting around living off people like you and me. Most often they are dumped on their parents to raise until something free comes along then they claim them while all along their parents are raising them getting nothing for it. Black families, churches'and more of us blacks that see these thugs need to confront them and put a stop to this or our community will never grow and be successful like it once was. I think the worst thing that ever happened was all these gov't giveaways that haven't done anything but hold the black culture back and made a lot of them lazy. Soon all those free programs are going to dissapear then I think thats the only way the blacks will figure it out. They must work in order to succeed in life just like you and me.

Anonymous said...

It all starts in the home. People should be ashamed of the crimes and fraud that are commited in this small city. I work in the healthcare industry and some of the patients need to be on medicaid as much as my dog does. Stop the fraud. Lock your children up at night. Drug test all people that receive these government programs. Monitor your neighbors for illegal activity and turn them in. And last but not least, if it is you or one of your family members or friends committing these wrongdoings......turn them in and take their children before they get burned in the real oven called HELL>

Anonymous said...

And I would love to have 40 acres and a mule

Anonymous said...

Who is Dr. Morse??!!

I feel your pain about patients not needing Medicaid. I fault the SYSTEM, the RECIPIENTS and the PHYSICIANS/HEALTH CARE FACILITIES. If you know NOTHING is wrong with a patient, WHY TREAT THEM JUST TO RECEIVE MEDICAID reimbursement! WHY ORDER ALL THESE BOGUS TESTS!

After all Medicaid doesn't grow on trees!!! It comes from the tax payers pockets

The whole thing is corrupt! Stop giving EVERYTHING AND EVERYBODY a free pass. I work for mine.

If all these programs were cut out and people had to get off their bums and actually WORK (something a lot of people look at you in shock if you ask them whether they have a job or not) priorities might change.

Hey Guys... Let's try to remember that this is a arena in which to speak your opinion and nothing more than that. I don't think Forthright is a racist or a bigot. I think he is a pretty sharp cookie who knows how to rattle our cages and keep a lively debate going. I agree with a lot he has to say, but not all. When I don't agree, I respond with my opinion. That's what makes this interesting and when I get really bored, I pick up the DDT.

I am a black man and I have tried to start a coversation group in my church and was told to be quiet. The blacks don't want to be told they are the problem and will not participate in any discussion about the troubles of the black race. I was called a wannabe whitey and a traitor just like Bill Cosby. I get the same treatment when I visit the barber shop and begin to express my opinion when other blacks are blaming all their problems on someone else. I have been jumped on and once even had a knife pulled on me for being right about what I said. I have almost given up on my brothers and sisters. They like it just the way it is and will not change. They don't care about anything but getting what they think they should have and for free. Until we blacks stand together and straighten our own kind out and change our way of thinking soon our race will be doomed. If we don't there will not be many of us left. We will either kill each other off,be in jail or die of STD'S or aids.

YOU need to find another church.
Obviously, your church members and
possibly your pastor are not true Christians.

Remember O'bama's church and his pastor. Now he has "distanced" himself from them, so that he won't be judged as "thinking as they do".

There are other churches in the community, both black and white. And they will listen to someone whenever he is stating the truth.

And there are also other barber shops.

Birds of a feather flock together.

Anonymous said...

1:22 I did move on to other churches and barber shops. It is the same way of thinking by the blacks here in G'ville. They don't want to hear or change. All they want is something for nothing. Go to the black community and see for yourself. I live in it everyday. I am ashamed and dissapointed in my brothers and sisters by the way they think, act, speak and dress.

Anonymous said...

3:18 I don't mean any harm... well, yes I do... you are a liar! I don't know whether you're actually black, white, or polkadot but THERE ARE BLACKS IN GREENVILLE THAT WANT THINGS TO CHANGE! There are blacks in my church, at the hair salon I patronize and in the community that would love to come together and MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN OUR COMMUNITY.

How DARE you "attempt" to speak for an entire race of people.

I've NEVER wanted SOMETHING for NOTHING and neither have the people black and white that I associate with.

Be ashamed and disappointed in yourself for categorizing an entire group based on your limited interactions. You, my friend, are part of the problem.

Maybe the previous commentor was right. You might want to take a LOOK AT THE COMPANY YOU KEEP!!!!

Anonymous said...

8:02 See thats what I am saying. You start off calling me a liar and then don't back it up. You cop an attitude just like most blacks do. You my fellow black sister don't get it. I never said we were all that way. I said most of our kind are not giving it their all to get ahead. Some of us are doing the right things but when you point it out to those that aren't they get an attitude and want to start fighting or cussing you. I wish you would speak out at those you see doing wrong and not turn the other way and see what happens to you. It ain't pretty I can tell you that. Next time you are in the salon say something like Did you know that there are only 20 million blacks in America and we lead all statistics of crime. I promise you better be ready to defend yourself because somebody is going to jump on you like white on rice.I never thought one of my kind would jump me in my driveway and put a 9mm to my head and pull the trigger just to get 4 dollars. My wife and I thank God everyday for protecting me that night last thanksgiving.

Anonymous said...

In my line of work, I point it out on a daily basis. Some people listen. Some people seem to be beyond help and some express a desire to change. I've never been met with animosity or "not wanting to hear" anything I've discussed.

Most people will at least listen. Now "changing" is another story.

And I think I backed my point up very nicely. You said "nobody" will listen. "They don't want to change". That's just not the case in my neck of the woods.

And contrary to what you might think, I don't have an "attitude". I'm just responding to the aspects of what you said that I don't agree with.

Often it's not the message. It's how it's conveyed.

Now unlike you... I'm very aware that my kind will more than likely stick me up or "jump" me quicker than anyone else. That's no surprise.

I thank God for protecting you and your family too.

In my opinion, the government made this entitlement mess and they have to clean it up. Now, for the people to do their part, they need to keep on bringing the issue up and debating it with their peers. Look at what we did to the Native Americans in this country. They are prospering with their casinos and other various projects. We need to stop the births of these innocent babies. Pregnancy is supposed to be attained when one is capable of standing on their own and working to pay their bills. Now it is just see how many children you can have and put them on programs. Entitlements are not free and I think mandatory birth control should be instituted. Being a grandparent at 30 is nothing to brag about. It is stupid and sad. Free daycare should be stopped. If you sit at home and I am paying for your daycare then you are robbing me and all the other taxpayers. Once again, drug test these entitlement pros. The police need to arrest and jail the thugs. DHS left a baby in the care of a lunatic that killed her boy. The system is ^&*%$%#$! Write your senators and congressmen and let your voice be heard. Write them over and over like I do. Elect people that will do their job for all people not just one section of society. I owe you nothing. You owe me. AMEN

I have changed and have tried to talk to others and change their ways . So whitey don't tell me to listen.

Excuse me, but YOU do NOT need to get all "huffy and puffy" with ME.

If YOU are so certain about what you are talking about,"blackey", and want to talk to someone about what's right and wrong with YOUR kind....then, try harder to talk to YOUR kind.

You stated that YOU have changed and have tried to talk to OTHERS and change their ways.

So, what YOU must do, is tell YOUR kind to LISTEN!

And....if YOU don't like me calling YOU "blackey"....then don't call ME "whitey".

YOU might could use a different approach when trying to talk to people....regardless of what race they belong to!

Anonymous said...

Dear God in heaven....can we please quit using words like whitey and blackey. We are all people just the same. We all are valuable to God. I learned a long time ago that you cannot change anyone. They have to change themselves. You can offer change, but that does not mean they will take it. Giving people incentive to change is the best answer. I think that a major hurdle we all must conquer is the "something for nothing" attitude. No one owes retribution any more. The government stifles people by rewarding them for their uselessness to human society. The government must give incentives such as only offering short term assistance. This will stop the total dependence on "programs". The precious children are the ones that suffer most. We help children in other countries all over the world. But we neglect our own children.

The blacks just need to keep on trying different ways of talking to their kind.

But, just stop and think.

The Japanese people are behaving, and helping others...which is what they do on a "day to day basis".

What a great job of "raising" their offspring to be civilized, law abiding, hard working individuals.

And always so discplined!

The difference with the Japanese is... they know who their parents are and have respect for their elders. We have replaced "fathers" with "who da baby daddy" which is too often a "multiple choice" question. We have lost respect for creating life and offering them "better" than we had. Having babies has become a source of income in the Delta... and if the children are handicapped or disabled, it just increases your check! The abuses of freedom is what is wrong with this country... and will ultimately be its downfall.

Obama's roommate speaks out. 2-16-11

This needs to be emailed to everyone in the USA.

By Wayne Allyn Root , June 6th, 2010

Barack Hussien Obama is no fool. He is not incompetent. To the contrary, he is brilliant. He knows exactly what he's doing. He is purposely overwhelming the U.S. economy to create systemic failure, economic crisis and social chaos -- thereby destroying capitalism and our country from within.

Barack Hussien Obama was my college classmate (Columbia University, class of '83). He is a devout Muslim do not be fooled. Look at his Czars...anti-business..anti- american. As Glenn Beck correctly predicted from day one, Barack Hussien Obama is following the plan of Cloward & Piven, two professors at Columbi University. They outlined a plan to socialize America by overwhelming the system with government spending and entitlement demands.

Add up the clues below. Taken individually they're alarming. Taken as a whole, it is a brilliant, Machiavellian game plan to turn the United States into a socialist/Marxist state with a permanent majority that desperately needs government for survival ... and can be counted on to always vote for bigger government.

Why not? They have no responsibility to pay for it.

Universal health care . The health care bill had very little to do with health care. It had everything to do with unionizing millions of hospital and health care workers, as well as adding 15,000 to 20,000 new IRS agents (who will join government employee unions). Obama doesn't care that giving free health care to 30 million Americans will add trillions to the national debt. What he does care about is that it cements the dependence of those 30 million voters to Democrats and big government. Who but a socialist revolutionary would pass this reckless spending bill in the middle of a depression?

Cap and trade. Like health care legislation having nothing to do with health care, cap and trade has nothing to do with global warming. It has everything to do with redistribution of income, government control of the economy and a criminal payoff to Obama's biggest contributors. Those powerful and wealthy unions and contributors (like GE, which owns NBC, MSNBC and CNBC) can then be counted on to support everything Obama wants. They will kick-back hundreds of millions of dollars in contributions to Obama and the Democratic Party to keep them in power.
The bonus is that all the new taxes on Americans with bigger cars, bigger homes and businesses helps Obama "spread the wealth around."

Make Puerto Rico a state. Why? Who's asking for a 51st state? Who's asking for millions of new welfare recipients and government entitlement addicts in the middle of a depression? Certainly not American taxpayers. But this has been Barack Hussien Obama's plan all along. His goal is to add two new Democrat senators, five Democrat congressman and a million loyal Democratic voters who are dependent on big government.

Legalize 12 million illegal Mexican immigrants. Just giving these 12 million potential new citizens free health care alone could overwhelm the system and bankrupt America. But it adds 12 million reliable new Democrat voters who can be counted on to support big government. Add another few trillion dollars in welfare, aid to dependent children, food stamps, free medical, education, tax credits for the poor, and eventually Social Security .

Stimulus and bailouts. Where did all that money go? It went to Democrat contributors, organizations (ACORN), and unions -- including billions of dollars to save or create jobs of government employees across the country.

Anonymous said...

It went to save GM and Chrysler so that their employees could keep paying union dues.
It went to AIG so that Goldman Sachs could be bailed out (after giving Obama almost $1 million in contributions). A staggering $125 billion went to teachers (thereby protecting their union dues).

All those public employees will vote loyally Democrat to protect their bloated salaries and pensions that are bankrupting America. The country goes broke, future generations face a bleak future, but Obama, the Democrat Party, government, and the unions grow more powerful. The ends justify the means.

Raise taxes on small business owners, high-income earners, and job creators. Put the entire burden on only the top 20 percent of taxpayers, redistribute the income, punish success, and reward those who did nothing to deserve it (except vote for Obama). Reagan wanted to dramatically cut taxes in order to starve the government. Barack Obama wants to dramatically raise taxes to starve his political opposition. With the acts outlined above, Barack Hussien Obama and his regime have created a vast and rapidly expanding constituency of voters dependent on big government; a vast privileged class of public employees who work for big government; and a government dedicated to destroying capitalism and installing themselves as socialist rulers by overwhelming the

Add it up and you've got the perfect Marxist scheme -- all devised by my Columbia University college classmate Barack Hussien Obama using the Cloward and Piven Plan .

True per snopes!

Anonymous said...

WOW those last two posts make me feel like an idiot. I had second thoughts when I voted for Obama but after reading this and researching it I really feel like an idiot for being fooled by Obama.

Anonymous said...

We've been fooled by all those who preceded him. Why not be fooled by him too?!

Maybe I used the wrong word. Instead of fooled I should've said LIED to about everything. Obama is one big LIER and thats all he is and ever will be. Just look at the middle east. If he would have kept his mouth shut and not gone over there and stirred UP all his kind (Muslim) then we wouldn't be getting into another war with Libya. He goes over there and gives an all world speech about living as one and being a global community and stirred them all up. What does he get ? The idiots give him a Nobel Peace Prize for giving a speech which has back fired. He didn't do anything and they give him a prize? He should give it back as far as I can see. Ronald Reagan brings down the Berlin Wall and he gets nothing. Obama gives a speech and causes an uproar in the region and he gets a Nobel Peace Prize? PLEEEEZE!!!!! YOU WAKEUP AND SMELL THE COFFEE 8:22. You're right about others behind the scenes pulling all the strings but Obama said that he was going to have an open door . He was going to CHANGE all that remember. Not only did he not CHANGE it he made it worse by closed door behind the scenes deals in the middle of the night to sneak things thru congress and it back fired on him in the November elections. Hows this CHANGE working for ya that Obama promised you? Not very good I bet. High gas prices, unemployment, housing foreclosures, worst national debt ever and about to enter another WAR!!!!!

The war started long before Obama became president. Didnt hear any complaining when bush was president and the vice president got rich. Two drunks together. Just goes to show how far a C student can go. Oh I forgot he was white so all of the servicemen that were killed was not his fault.

All politicians are liars. Now that we've gotten that out of the way. Obama inherited a crappy economy, a housing market on the brink of disaster, a national debt greater than we've ever known in the history of our country, and the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. The one to blame for any/all of this his 8 years of Republican leadership under George W.!

The economy was booming. Clinton not only left Monica Lewinsky a stained blue dress. He left our country with a SURPLUS. One that Bush and HIS OIL WAR - sanctioned by no one but him and the elusive WMDs - ran through like water.

It's all about oil and who will have control of it. NATO doesn't give a damn about the Libyan people. Hell, they'll kill more with their "targeted bombing" than Kadafi ever could. NATO wants the oil rights. And now that Kadafi's power is shaky... the US and other coalition forces are seizing the same opportunity they did in IRAQ!

You won't get any argument out of me about Obama not deserving the Nobel Peace Prize. Heck yeah, he needs to give it back. But I cannot agree with you on Reagan and the Berlin Wall.

He didn't have JACK to do with that wall coming down. The Eastern Bloc and the toppling of pro-Soviet governments and the WILL OF THE GERMAN PEOPLE BROUGHT THAT WALL DOWN.

Anonymous said...

4:52 You missed the point. CHANGE is what Obama said he was going to do. I don't see the CHANGE ,do you? What CHANGE has he made that hasn't backfired in his face or driven this economy further in debt? The dems were the ones that drove the housing market in the ground. Barney Frank a dem, was in charge of fannie mae. They the dems voted to let anyone ,job or not get a house they couldn't qualify for. Reagan brought down the wall just do your research. Clinton cooked the books along with ENRON EXECS and most of the big industries. Do your research on that. They got caught when Bush became President and they all went to jail unlike all the dems that screwed up the housing anf stock market once again by cooking the books in fannie mae. Do your research and you will see the dems started all this they were in charge of both houses.

Under Mr. Obama, we are more energy-dependent on the Middle East - a region in flames. Oil has skyrocketed to more than $100 per barrel, yet Mr. Obama refuses to allow any new drilling, exploration or construction of new refineries on U.S. soil. Does this seem like the response of a reasonable man with America’s best interests in mind - or of someone purposely bringing about a crisis to bring the U.S. economy to its knees?

Our southern border is in crisis, with drug wars, violence and murders spilling out into the United States. Border agents are outgunned and outmanned. Mr. Obama’s reaction? Sue the state of Arizona for defending its own border. Is this the reaction of a reasonable man or a man looking for a crisis?

In the meantime, we have become a nation on the dole. A record 45 million Americans are getting food stamps. One-sixth of all personal income in the United States is now provided by government. Are we building a future for our children to be productive and competitive in this world? Mr. Obama’s own education secretary announced days ago that 82 percent of all public schools are failing. What would you expect from a president owned by the teacher unions?

Can it get worse? Sure, the National Football League could go on strike and we wouldn’t even have football as a distraction any more. Uh-oh.

The country formerly known as the United States of America is now the Crisis States of America. All we can say to Mr. Obama is congratulations - “Mission accomplished.”

It really doesn’t matter if Mr. Obama is doing this on purpose or not. With friends like this, who needs enemies?

Welcome to Obamageddon

Anonymous said...

One has to wonder if congratulations are in order for President Obama. The U.S. economy is in ruins, the country in crisis, the world in chaos. Was this all a purposeful plan, or is Mr. Obama simply an inexperienced, incompetent, bumbling Inspector Clouseau in the White House?

From the day of Mr. Obama’s election, many concerned patriots have warned about his goals. Mr. Obama is a follower of radical Marxist strategy, like Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals” and Richard Cloward and Frances Fox Piven’s strategy of overwhelming the system to create economic crisis and chaos.

Based on those strategies, one would be foolish not at least to wonder whether Mr. Obama’s goal from the start was to wreck capitalism; redistribute wealth by punishing, penalizing and demonizing the wealthy; force Americans to their knees to beg for help from big government; and then in response to those pleas, put government in control over every aspect of our lives.

Examine the state of the union and the world under Mr. Obama. Judge for yourselves whether we are in a state of Obamageddon.

The United States is broke. Bankrupt. Insolvent. We’ve spent more and increased the debt more dramatically during the past two years than during any time in history. Alarm bells are ringing with the news that our deficit for last month was the highest in history ($223 billion). The U.S. government borrows 42 cents of every dollar it spends and has run a deficit 29 months in a row - a modern record. The debt is so immense that if the Internal Revenue Service taxed every U.S. citizen 100 percent, we still could not achieve a balanced budget. If we add in unfunded liabilities, we couldn’t balance the budget if we all paid 100 percent taxes forever. Obamageddon?

States, counties and cities are more broke and insolvent than the federal government. California is so broke, illegal immigrants are being caught sneaking into Mexico. Bill Gross, CEO of the biggest bond fund in the world, just sold all his U.S. municipal bond holdings and invested the proceeds in emerging bond funds. So Mr. Gross now trusts African nations and Brazil more than the United States.

Real unemployment is close to 20 percent, a number not seen since the Great Depression. Small business - which creates about 80 percent of all new jobs - continues to struggle. Only days ago, Robb & Stucky, an upscale national furniture chain in business for 95 years, filed for bankruptcy and announced it was closing all stores immediately. The famous Sahara Hotel in Las Vegas also announced it’s closing its doors after a 59-year run. Even a combined 154 years of success is no match for Mr. Obama’s economic game plan - unless one starts to think that perhaps failure and crisis are the game plan.

We have a union crisis in this country, with Mr. Obama’s best friends and biggest campaign contributors - government-employee unions - pitted against private-sector taxpayers. In Wisconsin, this crisis has led to protests, work stoppages and threats against the lives of union opponents.

The housing market is in dreaded double-dip territory, with declines actually accelerating across the country. Commercial real estate is so bad, landlords are begging the banks to take their keys and take back the properties. The banks are saying, “No, thanks. You keep it.”

Real inflation - including food and energy prices - is skyrocketing. The Federal Reserve is printing hundreds of billions of dollars to buy America’s own bonds, which even China now hesitates to buy. If the Fed continues to debase the currency, bondholders will demand higher interest rates to compensate for higher inflation. Because America owes a $14 trillion debt compounded with an annual $2 trillion deficit, any rise in interest rates would increase payments on the debt to the breaking point. Interest payments would crowd out all other forms of government spending.

Now the last couple of posts sure opened my eyes. What a mess and a liar Obama has been.GEEZ, how can we as Americans just sit by and watch this man do these things? It's amazing how complacent we have all become. Before long we will be like the middle east if we all don't wake up. There will be turmoil in every city.

1. Obama is a LIAR
2. This nation/the world is in chaos
3. Our southern borders aren't secure and the Republicans have taken away all funding for border patrol. Do your research
4. The divisiveness in our country is greater than ever.

We aren't just Americans anymore. We're liberals or conservatives, democrats or republicans, moderates or progressives.

I can't imagine it being any worse when we were on the brink of civil war.

Eight years of Bush shenanigans couldn't be washed away or repaired in one presidential term. It would have taken Superman AND the Justice League to accomplish that.

I don't think the prosperity of days gone by or the security we've taken for granted will ever come again no matter who's in office.

Our govt. isn't concerned about YOU - JOHN Q. PUBLIC.

We've been bought and sold; bought and sold again to foreign interests, big corporations and oil sheiks.

OPERATION ODYSSEY DAWN or whatever they're calling this crap going on in LIBY isn't ABOUT PROTECTING LIBYAN CIVILIANS.

It not working under DEMOCRATIC LEADERSHIP. It didn't work under REPUBLICAN LEADERSHIP. And it sure as hell wouldn't work under TEA PARTY LEADERSHIP.

It's time for a whole different game plan.

New Orleans Went Under--A Black Man's Comments
Carefully read the whole article. You'll be amazed at this guy!!!

I don't know the man who wrote this, but I looked at his picture and read it with my mouth hanging open.

He says things here that no white man could ever write and keep his job as a writer.

By Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson

Say a hurricane is about to destroy the city you live in. Two questions:
What would you do?
What would you do if you were black?

Sadly, the two questions don't have the same answer.

To the first: Most of us would take our families out of that city quickly to protect them from danger. Then, able-bodied men would return to help others in need, as wives and others cared for children, elderly, infirm and the like.

For better or worse, Hurricane Katrina has told us the answer to the second question. If you're black and a hurricane is about to destroy your city, you'll probably wait for the government to save you.

This was not always the case. Prior to 40 years ago, such a pathetic performance by the black community in a time of crisis would have been inconceivable. The first response would have come from black men.
They would take care of their families, bring them to safety, and then help the rest of the community. Then local government would come in.

No longer. When 75 percent of New Orleans residents had left the city,
it was primarily immoral, welfare-pampered blacks that stayed behind
and waited for the government to bail them out. This, as we know, did not turn out good results.

Enter Jesse Jackson and Louis Farrakhan. Jackson and Farrakhan laid blame on 'racist' President Bush. Farrakhan actually proposed the idea that the government blew up a levee so as to kill blacks and save whites. The two demanded massive governmental spending to rebuild New Orleans
above and beyond the federal government's proposed $60 billion. Not only that, these two were positioning themselves as the gatekeepers to supervise the dispersion of funds. Perfect: 'Two of the most dishonest elite blacks in America ,' overseeing billions of dollars. I wonder where that money will end up.

Of course, if these two were really serious about laying blame on government, they should blame the local one. Responsibility to perform legally and practically fell first on the mayor of New Orleans . We are now all familiar with Mayor Ray Nagin the black who likes to yell at President Bush for failing to do Nagin's job. The facts, unfortunately do not support Nagin's wailing. As the Washington Times puts it, 'recent reports show [Nagin] failed to follow through on his own city's emergency-response plan,
which acknowledged that thousands of the city's poorest residents would have no way to evacuate the city.'

One wonders how there was 'no way'

Theres more read next post:

Anonymous said...

One wonders how there was 'no way' for these people to evacuate the city. We have photographic evidence telling us otherwise. You've probably seen it by now the photo showing 2,000 parked school buses, unused and underwater. How much planning does it require to put people on a bus and leave town, Mayor Nagin?

Instead of doing the obvious, Mayor Nagin (with no positive contribution from Gov. Kathleen Blanco, the other major leader vested with responsibility to address the hurricane disaster) loaded remaining new Orleans residents into the Superdome and the city's convention center.
We know how that plan turned out.

About five years ago, in a debate before the National Association of Black Journalists, I stated that if whites were to just leave the United States and let blacks run the country, they would turn America into a ghetto within 10 years. The audience, shall we say, disagreed with me strongly. Now I have to disagree with me. I gave blacks too much credit. It took a mere three days for blacks to turn the Superdome and the convention center into ghettos, rampant with theft, rape and murder.

President Bush is not to blame for the rampant immorality of blacks.
Had New Orleans ' black community taken action, most would have been out of harm's way. But most were too lazy, immoral and trifling to do anything productive for themselves.

All Americans must tell blacks this truth. It was blacks' moral poverty, not their material poverty, that cost them dearly in New Orleans
Farrakhan, Jackson, and other race hustlers are to be repudiated
for they will only perpetuate this problem by stirring up hatred and applauding moral corruption. New Orleans , to the extent it is to be rebuilt, should be remade into a dependency-free, morally strong city where corruption is opposed and success is applauded. Blacks are obligated to help themselves and not depend on the government to care for them.
We are all obligated to tell them so.

Please help me understand, when did Minister Farrakhan become a thief? I am not of his faith but I have to respect that neither he or his followers receive anything from the government. Even the few in Greenville are self supporting. I have however, had the opportunity to hear him speak, probably wouldn't let my minister know this he might not appreciate it, but I must admit it was very thought provoking. Please note, for future reference, I work, receive no government assistance now do my children or their children who are in high school, college and the military. My only problem here, not to say that some of your ideas and opinions are not thought provoking also, but you always lump everyone together. My friends work, and none of them receive all the free stuff and I have a problem with being lumped as ALL BLACK PEOPLE this is not right.

You are "barking up" the wrong tree.

True, YOU are black. You admit this fact.

And...IF you don't like HOW your race IS really preceived by others...then, talk to the others in YOUR race.....change THEM and you can change the preception of HOW your race is viewed.

Again, I say....change THEM...and YOU won't have any problems with being "lumped" as...ALL BLACK PEOPLE.

11:25 Well said.

10:30 If Farrakhan was not a radical stirring up the black race with his crazy spins on politics then why did our president RUN the other way whenever his name was brought up? Obama is no idiot he knows not to be associated with those radicals like Farrakhan. The only time he ever shows up is when he and his kind can stir up things in order to get publicity and money. Never hear of him helping those in dire straits like the people in haiti or in japan. Why doesn't he organize his followers and go to those places just like every other church and help those people?

You "openly" admit that you have heard THE Minister Farrakhan speak.

But, in the next breath, you again, admit that your local preacher would not approve if he knew of this.

And I ask you this...You are aware that Minister
Farrakhan's organization....Nation of listed as a hate group in the state of Mississippi.

And that includes the "local" followers based in Greenville--even if they are what you call "self supporting".

So, THEY, with their association with Minister
Farrakhan are ALL "lumped together" with HIM.

And the Nation of Islam "followers"
dressed in their garb...should NOT be visiting the public schools and eating lunch in the school cafeterias or speaking to the faculty at staff meetings!

Yes, this has happened in Greenville, Mississippi!

Look what the idiot Farrakhan said today. CHICAGO — Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan is reiterating his defense of Moammar Gadhafi, saying the embattled Libyan leader isn't the monster being portrayed by the Western media.

Farrakhan held a rare news conference Thursday, where he criticized the U.S. government and President Barack Obama for launching military action against Libya without justification. He accused Americans of just wanting Gadhafi out of the picture to secure oil interests.

At the Nation of Islam's headquarters in Chicago, Farrakhan portrayed Gadhafi as a fellow revolutionary and a friend who's lent the movement $8 million over the years.

Farrakhan has publicly defended Gadhafi at several recent events.

Obama has defended U.S. military involvement, saying the U.S. intervened in Libya to prevent a slaughter of civilians as Gadhafi battles opposition forces.

And notice why he is defending Gadhafi. Its because he has given Farrakhan 8 million dollars .

Now come on people what does it take for you to open your eyes about Farrakhan?

IS the Superintendent of THE Greenville Public Schools aware that "Nation of Islam" followers/believers are visiting the schools and having lunch in the cafeterias with the principals and speaking at faculty meetings?

What effect does this have on the white students and white employees?

IF a known member of the KKK were doing this, the public would be outraged.

Why would they be speaking? Were they eating lunch because of their maybe childreds program? Who invited them to speak.

No "personal" children involved.

One of "THEM"....a man.. went to Solomon Middle School and spoke to the faculty. This was AFTER the district-wide convocation at the Conventin Center.

All employees reported back to their "base" school and the principal held his/her first faculty meeting with staff. This "man" was on the agenda to speak.

The next week, the same man, went to Solomon to have lunch with the principal in the school cafeteria.

Prior to the faculty meeting, a black male assistant with the Special Services department, was
"fussed at" by the assistant principal, Martha Jackson for wearing a "tribal hat" to work. He was told that....#1. You can't wear a hat to work....and #2. You can't "display" or wear religous materials.(His aunt was and STILL is THE superintendent's secretary!)

The principal was Michael McNeece.

It was his first year with Greenville Public Schools, after losing his job at Riverside.

McNeece is the one that invited him and "befriended" him.

McNeece isalso some representative with the teachers' union.

Shortly afterwards, McNeece got transferred to Carrie Stern.

Don't know if McNeece and the "man" continued to have lunch together at that school or not.

P.S. And at the district-wide convocation, the guest speaker was some man....with a name that I can't pronounce or spell. Some type of Muslim name.

He jumped up on the stage and yelled...."Do you believe?"

"If you believe, then stand up".

And no one KNEW what he believed...but, stood up ANYWAY!

And THE Mayor was also in attendance, wearing HER African American native "garb" that SHE had received on ONE of her MANY trips to Africa.

Sounded like some of Heather's politics to me.

Is HER church also one of the local "followers" of Nation of Islam?

And you ladies that weigh over 125 pounds, please if you tip the scales over 200 pounds don't wear stretch pants that looks like you painted yourself whatever color you are wearing. They look hideous and down right vulgar on you. You look like 100 pounds of dukie stuffed in a 10 pound bag. It ain't pretty looking at you wadded in those tights. What makes you think that seeing every fat roll you can imagine that you have showing is good looking? And try buying shoes that fit your feet sometime. Maybe your feet would feel better and look better if your shoes fit. No wonder your feet look like hoofs on a cow. Shoes are made to fit on your feet not to be 5 sizes too small so that your heels hang out the back 4 inches and you shuffle around making an awful noise while walking. And your feet look like they need a serious sanding from not wearing shoes that fit. Some of your feet look awful ,almost sickening. Try putting some lotion every now and then on those hoofs you call feet.

Maybe then they would learn how to dress.

NO "underhandedness".

NO travel expenses.

ALL decisions that concern the city of Greenville, Mississippi can be made in Greenville, Mississippi without the added expense of out-of-state and out-of the-country traveling.

Certainly, a few long distance phone calls can answer any questions that a city leader would have WITHOUT jumping in the car or on a plane to get the same answers in person.

NO personal bodyguards.

And a time-card for keeping track of hours worked on the JOB!

And regular office hours.

And an "open door" policy for ALL citizens.

Just curious...

Do members of congress have their own personal bodyguards?

If so, are they paid for out of the state's budget?

Or are they paid for out of DADDY'S budget?

No body guards for members of congress ,just security at public places where regular police should be anyway. They are there just like any public event such as football games or parades but not personal bodyguards.

To 4:34 PM:

Thanks for the info.

But,....does HEATHER know that members of congress do NOT have personal bodyguards?

And is DADDY aware?

Just because Bennie Thompson is on the Homeland Security committee...does NOT mean that his
"replacement" WILL also serve on that (or any other) committee!

Hmmmmm! Do I smell fish?

Been smelling something "fishy" for the past EIGHT years!

I don't think she will be a winner for a seat in congress. All her opponent has to do is post her stats of her being mayor of G'ville and THAT SHOULD DO HER IN. Her stats in G'ville are terrible and if voters will just read them they will or should not vote for her.

I was standing in line at the checkout counter at Wal Mart and as I looked at the line behind me, I saw a couple of people talking about what looked like identical new cell phones, bragging about the fact that their phones were free and so was the airtime.
The woman in line behind me had heard the same exchange and turned to the young man behind her and asked, “Is that a new type of cell phone?” The young man replied, “Yes, this is my new ‘Obama phone’”. She asked him what an “Obama phone” was, and he went on to say that, “Welfare recipients are now eligible to receive” what he described as (1) a FREE new cell phone, and (2) approximately 70 FREE minutes of air time every month.
Needless to say, I was a little skeptical about his answer, so when I got back home, I ‘Googled’ it, and lo and behold, he was telling the truth. This was what I discovered:

SafeLink Wireless is a government supported program that provides a free cell phone and airtime each month for income-eligible customers. In other words, your tax dollars are being distributed to a wireless phone provider to provide welfare recipients with free cell phones and airtime. I don’t know about you, but as for me, enough is enough. We are $14 Trillion in debt, Congress is balking at continuing unemployment payments to those who want to work, and Congress is increasing the dole-out to dead beats..

The ship of State is sinking, and it’s sinking fast. The old concept of getting ahead through hard work has flown out the window. It has been replaced by Obama’s and Congress’ idea of “Hope and Change.” The country has changed all right, changed to "Why should I work for it, when I can get it for free?"
You can click on the link below to confirm for yourself that the “Obama Phone” is real.
Just have a barf bag ready.

I wish you hadn't posted that about free phones before I had a chance to buy stock in walmart and safelink wirless. Now every black on welfare will be rushing to walmart to get their free phone. Maybe there's still time for me to buy stock in them anyway.

attending a fundraiser?

Who knows why she is there. Maybe she is trying to see all the places she ever wanted to see while it is free for her. I guess she is saying that she has to go to save G'ville so we have to pay for it.

Raising funds for HER Congressman
election race?

On Greenville's "dime"?

Anonymous said...

I wish we had all the money she spent on these so called trips to raise money for G'ville back so we could fix our roads. I wish someone had the money to follow her and see just what she does on these trips and report back to the citizens.

Tell Bennie Thompson.

He'll have HER, that HE knows that SHE wishes to 'run' against HIM!

Truth be known....SHE has probably already been
followed and monitered AND it will ALL come out in the wash!

Even the d-i-v-o-r-c-e will be brought up!

And the "dirty water" episode during Labor Day weekend....while SHE was "on vaction" in Florida.

And....the bodyguards!

And...."supposedly"....reading a book...with a man that was NOT her the back of a pick-up truck parked in the Greenville Cemetary!

SHE is attempting to "run with the BIG dogs"!

And as the saying goes...."If YOU can't run with THE big dogs,...then,stay on the front porch!

DADDY won't be able to "help" HER now!

SHE (and DADDY!) were BIG fish in a "little" pond...but, now SHE (and DADDY!) will be "little" fish in a BIG pond!

Southerns just love FRIED fish...with "hushpuppies" on the side!

Hey, just heard the CEO of Bolivar Medical Center got the big heave-ho on Friday! Corporate suits came down and walked him to the door. Can't believe that he lasted as long as he did because he was one stupid SOB. Now they need to clean out that snake pit called nursing, starting with that dumb-ass CNO who lies every time her lips move. Word on the street is that all the doctors and clinical staff are leaving to go down the road to Ruleville because BMC is such a hell-hole to work in. Hey, DRMC... I think you just moved up a notch!

Anonymous said...

And who was the CEO of Bolivar Medical Center?

And THE CNO is who?

DRMC needs to know the names of these TWO!

Anonymous said...

The CEO was Wes Sigler and the CNO is Joanne McCollum. Don't remember the name of the CFO but he probably wont be there much longer either.

A fish rots from the head down!

Anonymous said...

Joann McCollum used to work at KDH before and right after the merger. She didn't stay with DRMC long after that.

And whomever thinks that Terri lane is Forthright has obviously never heard one of her speeches.
